What Happens In Vegas Doesn’t Always Stay In Vegas.

Las Vegas is a place where many people come to escape the stresses of everyday life. The Strip’s seemingly nonstop array of world-class food, drink and entertainment provide an experience unlike any other in the United States.

Unfortunately, a trip to Las Vegas is not always the carefree adventure that visitors expect. The city’s heavy traffic and party-hard atmosphere cause unexpected legal issues for some visitors – and cause long-lasting consequences ranging from exorbitant medical expenses to a criminal record.

If you have been injured, ticketed or charged with a crime while visiting Las Vegas, you do not have to face it alone. At Christiansen Law Offices, we are here to guide you through the process and get you back to your life with as little disruption as possible.

Personal Injury Claims In Las Vegas

Traffic fatalities in Clark County fell slightly between 2016 and 2017, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. However, there were still more than 200 traffic deaths last year. Safety officials continue to work hard to make Nevada’s roads safer, but drivers and passengers in Las Vegas should take care to drive safely.

2017 was also a record year for pedestrian deaths around the Las Vegas Valley, according to Las Vegas Now. More than 75 pedestrians and cyclists died in traffic accidents in Las Vegas, highlighting how dangerous the city can be. Experts have attributed this problem to wide roads, inattentive driving and high speeds, which can all be deadly.

The Importance Of A Strong DUI Defense

In large entertainment hubs like Las Vegas, alcohol is everywhere. At some casinos, visitors can drink for free, which removes a significant deterrent to over-indulging. It is easy to see how this can result in a DUI stop or arrest. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, law enforcement officials made nearly 1,000 DUI arrests in 2016.

DUI charges are disruptive and expensive – and they can carry life-altering consequences. At Christiansen Law Offices, we help people protect their rights in DUI proceedings, building a strong defense and helping them mitigate the consequences so they can move on with their lives.
