December 13, 2011 - The North Las Vegas city attorney's office has charged the 78-year-old woman who crashed into three young girls who were crossing the street in a marked crosswalk on October 21, 2011. One of the children was killed, another was critically injured and is still recovering, while the third was treated for a fractured skull and released within days.

CBS 8NewsNow.com reports that the driver "has been charged with three counts of Failing to Yield the Right of Way to a Pedestrian in a Crosswalk, one count of Passing a Vehicle While Stopped for a Pedestrian and one count of Failing to Give Full time and Attention to Driving."
